Ideas
Demonstrates the ability to Design a Solution by providing a detailed &
accurate submission of the following:
· Provides
a thorough outline of your
game. Evidence should include i) Story Line, ii) Genre, iii) Instructions, iv)
Purpose and other relevant information.
· Creates a sophisticated
storyboard for the developed Scratch based game.
· Story
board includes the use of relevant pictures and/or symbols to demonstrate
the purpose of your game play.
· Story
board provides an outline below each slide to compliment included
symbols and pictures.
· Storyboard
applies the use of clear and accurately labelling so it is easy
to follow.
Make
Demonstrates the ability to Design a Solution by providing a detailed &
accurate submission of the following:
· Constructs a sophisticated
game that strictly adheres to the developed story board. Evidence will include
i) easy to play, ii) has good flow iii) intuitive and iv) good story line.
· Applies a personalised
and appropriate background into the game.
· Applies a minimum
of 2 appropriate sprites into the game.
· Constructs a well-developed
and working score counter within the game.
· Game is
made accessible on the Scratch Website (URL of game location is provided)
· Students upload
a hyperlink to their game via Twitter so other students can provide feedback.
· Game applies
a high level of design principles and is aesthetically appealing. Some
evidence may include i) clear headings, ii) appropriate font and size,
iii) appropriate colours, iv)
appropriate sprites/pictures, v) appropriate colours and iv) steps between
levels are easy to follow.
· Game applies
all 9 scripts, including 1) Motions, ii) Sound, iii) Pen, iv) Data,
v) Control, vi) Sensing, vii) Operators, viii) Looks, ix) Events.
Evaluate
Explains in the importance of
the evaluation process within the development of their game. Explanation must include reference to
i) The four P’s (Process, Product, Personal and Peer) and ii) how Twitter was
integrated within the evaluation process.
